Ian Bramble is guitarist for Irish rockers, The Popes . 
 
He also performs as a solo artist and fronts Bramble & The Banned which has featured
Status Quo legend John Coghlan, Maartin Allcock, Richy "Machine Gun" Hoy, and Spencer "Harpo" Richards. 
 
Ian and Nicky Bramble are also part of Butch Kincaid & The Brambles, with Texan singer songwriter Butch Kincaid.about-ian-bramble
 
"I learnt to play The Blues and Rock n Roll on the piano when I should have been learning Mozart. I did learn Mozart and did my grades, but it wasn't as much fun as blasting out Free Bird on the local club's piano."

Ian first started playing professionally as Hammond organ and piano player for rising Blues star Mick Pini,

culminating in B.B. King, possibly the most famous blues man ever, asking for his autograph after a gig at The Volkshaus in Zurich.

Since then he has gigged and recorded with many Indie, folk, rock and blues artists.
He has released two albums, "Hurricane Ride" and "Road 2 Nowhere" so far.
